Flownerves Fact Check: Claim by Claim Against the Label

Quick answer

This Flownerves fact check finds that the page names six ingredients and a capsule form, and that facts like the count, directions and guarantee are printed. Amounts, a maker and any study of the product are not. Brand lines about nerves are statements, not findings, and sources for single ingredients are mixed.

How does this Flownerves fact check work?

This Flownerves fact check takes statements from the sales page and the bottle render, then asks one question of each: is it printed, is it missing, or is it a claim that needs a source? We read; we did not test the product.

A rating is either true, false or not checkable here. Where a source helps, it is linked. Where none exists, we say so.

What about the brand's lines about nerves?

The brand says Flow Nerves is “developed to provide straightforward nutritional support for your nerves”, naming “the nerve endings in your hands, feet, and legs” and “that heavy, tingling, on edge sensation”. These are statements of intent and description. They are not results. The bottle render prints “NERVE SUPPORT*”, and the asterisk points to the notice that the FDA has not evaluated such a statement (FDA, Structure/Function Claims).

Checkable part: we found no study of Flow Nerves, so the line has no product trial behind it. Not checkable: whether any one person feels a change. Tingling and numbness have many causes, and a clinician has to sort them out (NINDS, Peripheral Neuropathy). See the full list on the claims versus evidence page.

What do sources say about each ingredient?

01

Alpha-lipoic acid

Trials in diabetic neuropathy used 600 to 1,800 mg a day. A 2024 Cochrane review found probably little or no effect on symptoms at six months (Cochrane review, Alpha-lipoic acid for diabetic peripheral neuropathy (2024)); a 2023 meta-analysis reported more favorable symptom scores (Nutrients 2023 meta-analysis, Oral alpha-lipoic acid and diabetic polyneuropathy).

02

L-carnitine

Nerve-symptom trials were of acetyl-L-carnitine, a different form, with very low certainty (Cochrane review, Acetyl-L-carnitine for diabetic peripheral neuropathy (2019)). We found none for plain L-carnitine.

03

Butcher's broom

Traditional use for the legs; the EMA says trial evidence is insufficient (EMA, Butcher’s broom (HMPC public summary)). No nerve evidence in what we read.

For the other three: NCCIH says there is not enough evidence to conclude that turmeric or curcumin helps for any health purpose (NCCIH, Turmeric). The ODS magnesium sheet covers limits and interactions and does not mention the glycinate form (NIH ODS, Magnesium (health professional fact sheet)). For coenzyme Q10, the amounts in trials we read come from cancer-care settings (NCI PDQ, Coenzyme Q10 (health professional version)). No source tested the six together at the unprinted amounts.

What is the overall finding?

Printed and checkable: form, count, directions, ingredient names, guarantee wording and contacts. Missing: every amount, a blend total, Daily Values, other ingredients, an allergen statement, a maker and any study. That is 7 of 15 items on our editorial list.

None of this says the capsule does nothing, and none of it says it works. It says a reader cannot check the claim. Ask a pharmacist before you start if you take any medicine, and keep taking what you are prescribed. Prices are on the pricing page, and the supplement facts page shows the label gaps.

FAQ

Flow Nerves questions people ask

Is the 95% curcuminoids claim true?

We cannot check it. It comes from the sales page alone, and it is a share of the turmeric extract, not an amount per capsule.

Is Flow Nerves clinically tested?

We found no study of the product, so we do not say so. Studies exist for single ingredients at set amounts.

Where do these facts come from?

From the sales page, the bottle render and the public sources linked in the text.
