Flow Nerves Side Effects: What Sources List for Each Ingredient

Quick answer

No study has tested Flow Nerves, so nobody can give its real side effects list. Below is what public sources report for each of the six named ingredients: stomach upset for several, a rare liver warning for turmeric, kidney cautions for magnesium. The amounts in the capsule are not printed, so chance and size are unknown.

Short answer

What are the Flow Nerves side effects?

Nobody can give a measured list of Flow Nerves side effects, because we found no study of the product and no printed amounts. What exists is a set of reports on the six ingredients on their own, usually at amounts we cannot match to the capsule.

That is a real limit. A side effects list for one ingredient depends on how much is taken, for how long and by whom. The sales page prints no amount for any of the six, so we cannot say whether a source's figure is higher or lower than what is in a capsule. We do not write that Flow Nerves has no side effects, and neither should anyone else. Natural origin does not make an ingredient safe for everyone (NCCIH, Using Dietary Supplements Wisely).

The sections below sort what sources report by ingredient, then by seriousness. The flow nerves side effects list is a reading aid, not a forecast. Medicine pairings sit on their own page: see the medicine check.

Stop and ask

A rash, swelling of the face or lips, trouble breathing, yellow skin or eyes, dark urine or severe stomach pain after starting any supplement needs medical advice now. Tell the order desk too.

By ingredient

What do public sources list for each of the six ingredients?

Stomach upset is the common thread. The serious items are rare or tied to larger amounts, and that is exactly the part we cannot check for this capsule.

IngredientEffects sources reportSource
Magnesium glycinateHigh supplement amounts commonly cause diarrhea, nausea and cramping; very high amounts can affect blood pressure and heart rhythmNIH ODS (NIH ODS, Magnesium (health professional fact sheet))
Alpha-lipoic acidNausea and vomiting; rare case reports of an insulin autoimmune syndrome; poisoning in childrenMemorial Sloan Kettering (Memorial Sloan Kettering, Alpha-Lipoic Acid)
Butcher's broom root extractNausea, stomach complaints, diarrhoea, lymphocytic colitis; some safety tests not performedEMA monograph (EMA, Community herbal monograph on Ruscus aculeatus rhizoma (2008; copy hosted by e-lactancia.org))
L-carnitineAt about 3 g a day: nausea, vomiting, cramps, diarrhea, fishy body odor; heartburn, headache and flu-like symptoms are also listedNIH ODS, Memorial Sloan Kettering (NIH ODS, Carnitine (health professional fact sheet)) (Memorial Sloan Kettering, Carnitine)
Turmeric extractUsually well tolerated for 2 to 3 months; stomach upset; rare liver injury, including with high-absorption productsNCCIH, LiverTox (NCCIH, Turmeric) (LiverTox, Turmeric)
Coenzyme Q10Nausea, diarrhea, loss of appetite, rash, dizziness, headache; mild insomnia at 100 mg a day or more in some peopleNCI, Memorial Sloan Kettering (NCI PDQ, Coenzyme Q10 (health professional version)) (Memorial Sloan Kettering, Coenzyme Q10)

Absence from a row is not safety. The butcher's broom monograph says genotoxicity, carcinogenicity and reproductive toxicity tests were not performed, and a report of no interactions means none were reported, not that none exist.

The heavier items

Which items on the list deserve the most attention?

Four stand out, none of them common, and each has a plain action.

01

Liver injury (turmeric)

NCCIH warns of liver damage reports with turmeric, including products made to absorb better. LiverTox describes cases starting one to four months in, one of them fatal, and a gene link. Fatigue, nausea, poor appetite, dark urine or yellow skin means stop and call a provider. The sales page gives a 95% curcuminoid figure for its turmeric, which is a share, not an amount.

02

Kidney load (magnesium)

The risk from supplement magnesium rises with poor kidney function. If you have kidney disease, ask your doctor before any magnesium product.

03

Gut bacteria product (L-carnitine)

Unabsorbed carnitine is turned by gut bacteria into TMAO, which may raise cardiovascular risk. NIH says the effects are not well understood. Ask a doctor if you have heart disease.

04

Blood sugar (alpha-lipoic acid)

Memorial Sloan Kettering says alpha-lipoic acid can lower blood sugar. If you take insulin or another diabetes medicine, a pharmacist should check first.

Who is more exposed

Who is more likely to have trouble?

People who take several medicines, have kidney, liver, thyroid or heart conditions, or are pregnant, nursing or under 18. The sales page itself says adults 18 and over.

More caution

  • Blood thinner, diabetes, thyroid or blood pressure medicine
  • Kidney disease or a past liver problem
  • Pregnant or nursing
  • Planned surgery in the next three weeks
  • Already taking one of the six ingredients in another product

Less likely to matter, still ask

  • No medicine and no condition
  • A bottle used exactly as directed
  • A record of the start date and any change
  • A pharmacist who has seen the list

Doubling up is the easiest way to add exposure. Two products with the same ingredient add together, and this capsule prints no amount to add to. See how to take it and who it is for.

If something happens

What should you do if you notice a side effect?

Note it, stop and ask, and do not change a prescribed medicine on your own.

  1. Write it down

Record the date, what you felt, the time after the capsule and what else you ate or took. Keep the bottle and the lot number FN-26/FL-7548.

  2. Stop the capsule and call

For anything beyond mild stomach upset, hold the supplement and ask a clinician. Keep taking prescribed medicine unless your clinician says otherwise.

  3. Tell the right people

Your doctor and pharmacist first. Then the order desk, which handles placed orders and refunds. See the contact page.

  1. Seek urgent medical care nowSudden weakness or numbness on one side of the body, a drooping face, trouble speaking, confusion or a sudden severe headache. Do not wait to see if a supplement helps.
  2. Urgent care todayLoss of bladder or bowel control, numbness in the groin or inner thighs, or weakness or numbness that spreads fast in both legs. MedlinePlus lists bladder or bowel changes among sciatica warning signs.
  3. See a clinician soonNumbness or tingling that spreads, keeps coming back or wakes you at night; weakness or dropping things; falls or a new loss of balance.
  4. Foot woundA foot sore, blister or cut that will not heal, a red, hot or swollen foot, or a change in skin color. See a clinician promptly, especially with diabetes.
  5. Get medical advice nowA rash, swelling of the face or lips, hives, trouble breathing, yellow skin or eyes, dark urine, severe stomach pain or other new symptoms after starting any supplement.

Signs drawn from public health and clinic sources (NINDS, Peripheral Neuropathy) (CDC, Your Feet and Diabetes) (MedlinePlus, Sciatica). This list is not complete, and a supplement is never a reason to wait.

An FDA fact page tells people to bring a list of every supplement to each visit (FDA, Mixing Medications and Dietary Supplements Can Endanger Your Health). The 60-day promise is explained on the guarantee page, and the testing and quality page covers lot references.

FAQ

Flow Nerves questions people ask

What are the side effects of Flow Nerves?

No study tested the product, so there is no measured list. Public sources report stomach upset for several of the six ingredients, a rare liver warning for turmeric and kidney cautions for magnesium.

Does Flow Nerves cause stomach upset?

It might. Magnesium, L-carnitine, butcher's broom, alpha-lipoic acid, coenzyme Q10 and turmeric all appear in sources with nausea, cramps or diarrhea. The amounts are not printed, so we cannot say how likely it is.

Can Flow Nerves harm the liver?

Sources report rare liver injury with turmeric products, including some made for higher absorption. Stop and call a clinician for fatigue, dark urine, yellow skin or poor appetite.

Does Flow Nerves have no side effects?

We cannot say that, and nobody can without a study. Natural origin does not make an ingredient safe for everyone.

What if I get a rash or swelling?

Seek medical advice now. A rash, swelling of the face or lips or trouble breathing needs urgent medical care.

Are the side effects worse if I take more?

Sources link several effects to larger amounts, and the capsule prints none. Never take more than your bottle says.

Where do I report a problem?

Tell your doctor and pharmacist first, and the order desk for the order. The website inbox cannot see orders.
