How We Write: Flow Nerves Editorial Standards
How we write comes down to five rules: start from what the sales page prints, name what is missing, cite public sources for every health statement, make no claim that a supplement treats a condition, and show a medical reviewer on every page. We also disclose that we may earn a commission on orders.

The short version
What are the editorial standards behind these pages?
How we write is set by a short list of rules, applied to every page and post. They exist because a supplement site can easily slide into selling. The rules push the other way.
Label first
We start from what is printed, and list what is not. If a fact is missing, we say so and do not fill it in.
Sources for health statements
A health statement carries a link to a public source or is dropped. We say what each source shows and does not show.
No treatment claims
We never call Flow Nerves or an ingredient a remedy for a condition, and we claim no effect on nerve function or sensation.
Both sides of evidence
Where studies disagree, we name both and do not choose the friendlier one.
Medical review
A medical reviewer is shown at the bottom of every page, with credentials and date.
Open disclosure
We may earn a commission on orders. We say so on every page.
Sources
Which sources do we use, and in what order?
We rank sources by how much weight they can carry. The sales page is the only source for what the product is. It is never a source for what the product does.
| Tier | Examples | Used for |
|---|---|---|
| 1. The sales page and brand render | Capsule count, directions, ingredient names, packs, guarantee | Product facts only |
| 2. Government and public health pages | NIH, CDC, FDA, FTC, NCCIH, MedlinePlus | Conditions, cautions, rules |
| 3. Systematic reviews | Cochrane reviews, meta-analyses | What trials of an ingredient found |
| 4. Clinic and cancer-centre pages | Memorial Sloan Kettering, Mayo Clinic | Cautions and interactions |
| 5. Regulators abroad | European Medicines Agency summaries | Traditional-use statements |
We do not cite blogs, forums, other sellers, or competing review sites for a health statement. A source is linked once per page, and extra mentions appear as plain text. Some pages block automated access, so numbers from those are re-checked on the live page before we print them. The full list is on the guides page.
Claims
What do we refuse to write about Flow Nerves?
We follow a claims policy that a script checks on every page before it goes live.
- We claim no effect of Flow Nerves or any ingredient on nerve function, tingling, numbness, burning or pain.
- We do not call it a remedy for neuropathy, sciatica, carpal tunnel syndrome, nerve damage or diabetes.
- We do not use approval, certification or registration wording the product has not earned.
- We do not advise anyone to change, skip or stop a medicine. We say to keep taking prescribed medicine and to ask a pharmacist or doctor.
- We quote the brand's own wording only inside quotation marks and attribute it to the brand.
Health claims in advertising need competent and reliable scientific evidence (FTC, Health Products Compliance Guidance), and a supplement's structure-or-function claim carries a notice that the FDA has not evaluated it (FDA, Structure/Function Claims). When we describe a study, we use one pattern: a trial of an ingredient, at a stated amount, for a stated time, in a stated group, reported something, and no study tested this product.
Medical review
How does medical review work here?
A medical reviewer reads each page against its sources and checks that no sentence goes past them. The reviewer's name, credentials and review date appear in the box at the bottom of the page once confirmed.
- 01
Read your own bottle first
The bottle that arrives wins over any page. Read the directions and cautions printed on it, and check that the seal is intact. Flow Nerves is for adults 18 and over.
- 02
Take one capsule a day with a meal
The sales-page FAQ says to take one capsule daily with a meal. Do not take more than your bottle says.
- 03
Drink a full glass of water with it
The same FAQ says to take the capsule with a full glass of water. The sales page does not give a size for the glass.
- 04
Keep a record and tell your pharmacist
Write down the date you started, and tell your pharmacist and doctor about every supplement you use. The capsule log on the home page keeps count of the days in a bottle.
A review is a check of accuracy. It is not an endorsement of Flow Nerves and not medical advice for you. Until a reviewer is confirmed, the fields show as open and we do not fill them. The reviewer section of the about page shows the same box.
Customer reviews
What is our rule on customer reviews?
No review, rating or testimonial appears unless it is matched to a real order.
The FTC finalized a rule against fake reviews and testimonials (FTC, Final rule banning fake reviews (press release)). We show empty slots in place of invented ones, and we label vendor-supplied photos as such. We keep matched low ratings. Details, plus a checklist for judging any supplement review, are on the reviews page.
Disclosure
How do we disclose that we earn money from orders?
We are the information site of a U.S. retail partner, and we may earn a commission when you buy through our links. The FTC says such connections should be disclosed (FTC, Endorsement Guides: What People Are Asking).
Disclosure shows in the top strip, on the about page and in the byline box. We are not the manufacturer. No payment from a seller changes our claims policy, our source ranking or the facts we print about what is missing from the label.
Corrections
How do we update pages and fix mistakes?
Each page shows its last-updated date. If a source changes or a reader finds an error, we correct the page and change the date.
- Prices, shipping and the guarantee can change, so every page says to confirm them at checkout.
- If a source page changes a number, we re-check it before we print it.
- To report an error, write to [email protected] (Mon-Fri 9:00am-5:00pm ET) with the page and the sentence.
The website inbox cannot see orders. For an order you have placed, or a refund, call +1 (302) 200-3480. All contacts are on the contact page.

We start from what the sales page prints, list what is missing, add public health sources for each health statement, and avoid any claim that a supplement treats a condition.

A medical reviewer is shown at the bottom of each page with credentials and date. Until one is confirmed, the fields are marked as open and no name is invented.
