That matters because free bonuses are a common promise on supplement pages: a guide, an extra bottle, a gift. A bonus may exist on a page we have not seen. It may also be a claim with nothing behind it. The way to tell is the cart.

Reading a claim
How should you read a free bonus claim?
Is it in the cart?
If the bonus does not show as a line in the cart at checkout, it is not part of the order yet.
What does it cost?
“Free” with shipping charged on it is not free. Read the total, including postage and tax.
Does it need a bigger pack?
Many bonuses attach to a larger pack. Check whether you would buy that pack anyway.

What should you ask the order desk?
- Is the bonus part of my order? Name the pack and ask for the answer in an email.
- Does the bonus come back if I return the bottles? Many do not.
- Who pays postage on the bonus, and who pays to return it?
- Is any later order scheduled? We could not confirm repeat billing for this product.

Why does a free item never change the label questions?
A bonus does not add an ingredient amount, a Supplement Facts panel or a study. The sales page names six ingredients in a proprietary blend. We saw no milligram amount. A federal rule lets a blend list one total instead of each amount (21 CFR 101.36 (eCFR), Supplement Facts and proprietary blends), yet we saw no total either.
So weigh the bottle on its own. Read the ingredients page, ask a pharmacist before the first capsule if you take medicine (FDA, Mixing Medications and Dietary Supplements Can Endanger Your Health), and see a clinician about numbness, tingling or weakness. A free gift is not advice.
